Shares of Alphabet Inc. GOOG GOOGL shares declined in today’s pre-market trading following the release of fourth-quarter results.
Alphabet posted better-than-expected earnings results for its fourth quarter on Tuesday. However, Google’s advertising sales fell short of market estimates.
Alphabet’s fourth-quarter revenue increased 13% year-over-year to $86.31 billion, which surpassed the consensus estimate of $85.33 billion, according to sources. The company reported quarterly adjusted earnings of $1.64 per share, exceeding analyst estimates of $1.59 per share.
Alphabet shares fell 5.6% to $144.45 in pre-market trading.

- J-Long Group Limited JL shares fell 7% to $10.23 in pre-market trading. J-Long Group recently announced the closing of its initial public offering.
- Bitdeer Technologies Group BTDR shares fell 6.8% to $8.37 in pre-market trading. Bitdeer recently appointed Jihan Wu as CEO.
- Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. AMD shares declined 6.7% to $160.50 in pre-market trading following fourth-quarter results.
- Mondelez International, Inc. MDLZ shares fell 5.8% to $71.87 in pre-market trading after the company reported fourth-quarter financial results and issued guidance.
- Bitfarms Ltd. BITF shares fell 4.8% to $2.20 in pre-market trading after declining around 4% on Tuesday.
- Novartis AG NVS fell 3.3% to $104.20 in pre-market trading following weak quarterly results.
- Tesla, Inc. TSLA shares declined 3.3% to $185.30 in pre-market trading.
